What Is My Level, Which Level I Need to Register?
Welcome to Marina Swim School! Use this guide to determine the most suitable class based on your swimming skills and distance abilities. Follow the steps below to find your level, and let us help you take the next step in your swimming journey.

- Match Your Abilities to a Level: Find the level that best aligns with your abilities and goals.
- Register for Your Level: Once you’ve identified the right level, complete your registration and start swimming!

For Children 6 Years and Older:
1. MSS Beginner Group
If your child is new to swimming and cannot yet swim 5 meters on their front and back unassisted, they should start with the MSS Beginner Group.
2. MSS1 Group
To join MSS1, your child must be able to swim independently and meet these requirements:
- Swim Distance: 10 meters (unassisted)
- Front glide: 5 meters
- Back glide: 5 meters
3. MSS2 Group
If your child can swim longer distances and is ready for more advanced techniques, they can join MSS2 by meeting these skills:
- Swim Distance: 25 meters
- Front glide: 10 meters
- Back glide: 10 meters
- Side glide: 5 meters (unassisted)
4. MSS3 Group
To join MSS3, your child must demonstrate the following advanced swimming abilities:
- Swim Distance: 55 meters
- Front and side combination (Basic front crawl): 20 meters
- Pencil on back: 20 meters
- Basic whip kick: 15 meters (assisted)
5. MSS4 Group
If your child is ready for competitive-style strokes, they can join MSS4 by meeting these requirements:
- Swim Distance: 55 meters
- Front crawl: 20 meters (breathing every 3 strokes)
- Back crawl: 20 meters
- Whip kick: 20 meters (unassisted)
6. MSS5 Group
For advanced swimmers aiming to perfect their strokes, MSS5 requires the following skills:
- Swim Distance: 160 meters
- Front crawl: 60 meters (with a high elbow)
- Back crawl: 60 meters
- Elementary backstroke: 20 meters
- Dolphin kick: 20 meters
Patrol Program
If your child is ready for endurance training and advanced strokes, they can join the Patrol Program by meeting these requirements:
- Swim Distance: 300 meters (within 10 minutes)
- Front crawl: 100 meters
- Back crawl: 80 meters
- Elementary backstroke: 20 meters
- Breaststroke: 80 meters
- Scissor kicks: 20 meters (assisted)
Advancing in Patrol Program:
If your child holds a certificate from a previous Patrol level, they can register for the next level.
